Ievy Stamatov is a Toronto-based director, producer, media maker, comedian, and writer.
She collaborates with a wide range of artists to create visual content for established and emerging musicians, global brands, and creative storytellers. Her reputation for meaningfully connecting with the artists she works with led to her being tapped to direct the nation-wide 'What I Wouldn’t Do (North Star Calling) - Artists for Feel Out Loud' music video campaign in support of Kids Help Phone, where she collaborated closely with renowned music producer Bob Ezrin.
As a stand-up comedian, Ievy has been featured at JFL42 and Camp Wavelength festivals, and performed at venues across Canada, USA, and Australia. Ievy is the co-founder and former host/producer of Lemon Comedy – an international stand-up showcase with sold out seasons in London, LA, and Melbourne, – and the award-winning Punch Up Comedy show in Toronto.
Ievy is a committed volunteer with the Girls Rock! organization, where she coaches bands and teaches guitar to young girls, trans, and non-binary youth at the Toronto, Melbourne, and Santa Barbara chapters.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Carleton University’s School of Journalism and Communications, and was a guest lecturer at Loyalist College.
In her spare time, Ievy enjoys playing bass in the indie/alternative band So Young, and debating philosophical ideas over wine and snacks.
